AMD ha lanzado nuevos controladores esta tarde con los ya prometidos AMD Catalyst 12.11 beta, conjuntamente con los AMD Catalyst 12.10 estables y los Catalyst Application Profiles 12.10 CAP 1.
Los controladores AMD Catalyst 12.11 beta están enfocados en brindar mejoras del rendimiento de hasta el 15% en la mayoría de sus tarjetas gráficas Radeon HD 7000 series basadas en la arquitectura Graphics Core Next (GCN), además rendimientos del 10% hasta un 45% sobre las tarjetas de la competencia basadas en la arquitectura Kepler (GeForce GTX 600 series).
Esta versión preliminar se lanza conjuntamente con los controladores AMD Catalyst 12.10 versión estable y oficial enfocada en corregir problemas de funcionamiento, brindar soporte para la tecnología enduro en GPU móviles y otras mejoras que se detallan en las notas de lanzamiento, finalmente AMD también ha actualizado sus Catalyst Application Profiles 12.10 CAP 1. con mejoras en algunos videojuegos y configuraciones CrossFireX.
